The water-based 2-component contact adhesive from Zelu offers a number of advantages in the manufacture of upholstered furniture, including a significant improvement in efficiency thanks to single-sided application. In addition, its very high initial strength ensures a permanent bond between substrates, including ones with complex geometries.

With Curvalin D 409X, ZELU CHEMIE GmbH has a series of water-based pressure-sensitive adhesives with an already proven track record in its portfolio. The products in this series can be readily integrated into production processes and their various properties, such as the ability to debond and their tack, can be individually adapted.

Alternative raw material base and high solid contents up to 74 per cent – the “Zelukleber P 49XX” product series enables reducing emissions and optimizing workplace. At the same time, easy processing and problem-free integration into existing production processes are ensured.

For a wide range of bond types, the new water-based two-component contact adhesive from ZELU CHEMIE GmbH offers high initial tack with only one-sided adhesive application, making the bonding process significantly faster. As well as saving time, this also means lower costs thanks to the reduced amount of adhesive.

ZELU CHEMIE GmbH has developed its first water-based single-component dispersion adhesive for bonding steering wheels. It allows direct application onto the steering wheel blank. This means the bonding process is twice as fast. Furthermore, no organic solvent means fewer health risks for employees.
